The recent resignation of our General Manager has initiated our search for a successor who is eager to leave their own imprint, to embark on a new chapter with fresh perspectives and strategies to sustain success well into the future.
About The Role...
This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong sales philosophy in growing and retaining membership in a competitive landscape, ideally within the fitness industry. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership, and cultivate a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for all that enter the Sharks Health + Fitness Centre.
This position includes the responsibilities of, and not limited to:
- Setting clear objectives and performance expectations for the team.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive membership growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the member experience and retention rates.
- Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that all team members prioritise member satisfaction and retention.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to team members to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor member feedback and implement improvements as needed to meet or exceed member expectations.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure availability and functionality.
- Implement policies and procedures to promote efficiency, safety and mitigate risks.
- Strong business acumen, including experience developing and executing strategies, budgeting, and revenue management.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, ideally within the fitness industry.
- Proven track record of success managing a business and teams, ideally within the fitness industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of fitness trends, practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fitness management software (Gym Vue, Gym Sales).
