Your new role
Using your impressive fire testing/electrical experience, you will be working with a diverse and interesting range of clients – ranging anywhere from large industrial sites to schools, and sweet little nursing homes to multi story unit blocks.
As our newest Fire Protection Systems and Equipment Tester, your key responsibilities include:
- Systematic and thorough testing of fire systems and equipment to ensure they operate as required in case of emergency.
- Routine and periodic inspection and testing of all equipment, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire panels, fire pumps, extinguishers, hosed reels, emergency lights etc.
- Minor remedial works as required.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience and knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment testing.
- Superb people skills with the ability to understand and manage our clients’ individual needs.
- You are a qualified or near qualified electrician
- You have a solid working knowledge of AS1851
- You’re enthusiastic, reliable, and have a high attention to detail.
- You have a current driver’s license.
- Though not essential, FPAS accreditation would be a big bonus.
- You have the capacity to carry out minor remedial work as required.
