Australian Health Professionals (AHP) are now hiring Occupational Therapists to join our team in NSW North Coast - suburbs including Ballina and Suffolk Park.
AHP are now offering an attractive contractor position between Monday to Friday - your roster with AHP is flexible and designed to work around your current commitments and lifestyle. Pick & choose when you work and how often!
The Role:
We currently are seeking a OT to attend consulting work in NSW North Coast; referrals types may include - wheelchair assessments, equipment prescription/modifications, seating assessments, manual handling strategies for complex cases (eg. bariatric), and pressure area care strategies and equipment.
- Start date: ASAP/Flexible!
- Rate: $85 p/h (ABN)! OR casual employment for $75 per hour.
- Travel KMs reimbursement depending on location and distances.
- Flexible roster: Pick and choose when you work!
- Training and orientation provided by regional managers, including on-going management support and check-ins.
Skills & Requirements:
- Qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
- General AHPRA Registration.
- Experience in community OT services or have experience with wheelchair/ seating prescription, home environment assessments etc.
- One-two successful references.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Can apply through AHP) + National Police Check (within the last two years)
- Up to date with 2024 Flu & COVID-19 Vaccinations (x3 total).
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ensure high communication is met with your regional manager and rostering team.
