Your New Role
Working between frank green Operations in Dandenong South and frank green House in South Melbourne, the CFO will lead and manage frank green’s financial function. They will collaborate with stakeholders and uphold robust financial control while promoting top-notch financial processes.
The CFO's responsibilities include financial accounting, internal and external reporting, tax, payroll, and banking. The success of this role is based on accurate financial reports, reconciliation of the general ledger, cash fund management, implementation of internal controls, and compliance with external requirements. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Senior Finance professional to contribute to the global growth of frank green.
Your Day to Day
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the finance function including financial accounting, management accounting, AR, AP, tax, cash flow, payroll and compliance.
- Manage the preparation of month end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting.
- Maintain compliance with all direct and indirect tax requirements for Australia, USA, and UK/Europe (GST/IAS/Payroll Tax/VAT/USA State Sales Tax).
- Be the key point of contact, and liaise with and manage external advisers across finance, tax, and compliance.
- Oversight of master data within the business into the NetSuite ERP. Identify any financial risks and promptly raise these whilst also developing de-risk and/or safety strategies for the business.
- Work closely with the CEO to develop business strategies applying strong financial acumen.
- Work directly with the CEO to manage Body Corporate and other asset related tasks.
- Be an active member of the Global Leadership Team and provide mentorship across the business.
Your Skills
- 10+ years experience in finance, including 5+ years in senior positions, ideally within hyper-growth consumer goods environments.
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Taxation expertise: direct and indirect for AUS / NZ / USA / UK / EUR.
- NetSuite ERP experience (essential) and global eCommerce payment applications experience.
- Ability to lead, inspire and develop a high-performance team.
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to investigate discrepancies.
- Ability to quickly raise and resolve unexpected issues. Impeccable organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, with internal and external stakeholders.
- A hands-on approach to work, delving into the detail when required.
