Licenced Electrical Supervisor
Our Client is a well known Northern Beaches Based Co. offering a stable & inclusive workplace who manufactures onsite an innovative range of world leading products.
The Role
Reporting to the Australian Operations Manager you will be responsible for efficient maintenance & repair work (mechanical & electrical) of facilities & plant equipment managing a team of two direct reports – from review of plant maintenance issues, troubleshooting to determine the best resolution regarding time & cost.
Responsibilities
• Accountability for all maintenance and repair •
Lead efforts to upgrade plant/facility for efficiency, safety & reliability
• Plant regulatory requirements
• Maintenance/knowledge of injection moulding machines, their ancillaries & robots
• Oversee General contractors – manage visits and equipment maintenance schedules
• Responsible for site infrastructure & facilities maintenance
• In conjunction with QA Manager prepare and update ISO procedures
• Participate & manage ISO audit
• Responsible for upkeep of spare parts management system
• Develop & maintain Plant/Equipment preventative maintenance program
• Support Production with small jigs & fixtures
• Responsible for safe & tidy workshop
• Lead projects involving commissioning, installation, modification or renovation of plant & equipment
• Collaboration with Engineers & suppliers on jobs to be completed by outside contractors
• Control costs, scheduling & development of maintenance activities
• Manage supplies, purchases & budget
• On call emergency repairs outside regular hours
Skills & Experience
• Strong commitment to WH&S
• Familiarity with automation system controls & PLC programming – Siemens / Unitronics
• Strong knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical systems – speed drives SEW, Festo pneumatics, hydraulics
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
• Proactive approach with high attention to detail & proven ability to multi task
• Understand manufacturing & industrial breakdowns, related to injection moulding machines & fault finding
• Use of Word/Excel
Qualifications
• Full Electrical Supervisors Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Trade Qualification
