About the Company
This NSW Government agency is looking for a Principal Project Officer to come in for a 3 month contract. This position is full time based out of Parramatta with flexible working arrangements, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office each week.
About the role
- Develop evidence-based policies for the interment industry, including a digital strategy and updated complaints policy.
- Lead projects with the focus to improve customer focus and raise awareness of the department
- Provide strategic advice to the Board and CEO, including secretariat support.
- Advise on risk and governance to the Minister and Department, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Maintain systems for robust reports and documents.
- Develop and manage strategies, policies, and programs directed by the Board and CEO.
- Prepare complex reports and briefs for the Board and executive.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, provide accurate advice, and balance priorities effectively.
About you
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders
- Attention to detail under pressure of tight and challenging timeframes
- Strong customer focus experience
