The Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced Drafting Manager to lead the drafting team. Looking after 2 in-house drafty's as well as an overseas team of 5, you will be responsible for keeping the drafting wheels turning smoothly, nurturing a culture of growth, and ensuring their homes are built to perfection.
Responsibilities
- Dive deep into drafting details, ensuring each blueprint meets construction needs promptly.
- Keep timelines in check, ensuring a seamless flow of information for top-notch customer service.
- Working side by side with different teams (engineering, overseas drafting, construction teams etc), bridging communication gaps and meeting client expectations.
- Troubleshoot hiccups and collaborate with experts to fine-tune projects.
- Staying updated on technical know-how as the go-to person for all things drafting.
About You
- At least 12 months of Drafting Management experience and experience managing an overseas drafting team
- Fluent in ArchiCAD and have a good grasp of industry standards.
- Medium density experience and knowledge of the end-to-end building process from civil and sewerage, townplanning, engineering etc.
- At least 4 years in Production Drafting within the home building sector is ideal
- MS Office skills are a must.
