We currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team based in Sydney on a permanent, full time basis. Key responsibilities Working within an experienced and supportive team, this role will see you:
- Processing American Express and employee expense claims
- Review expense claims to ensure they comply with firm policy
- Escalate no compliance with National Accounts Payable Team Leader
- Comply with auditor requests
- Monthly expense and transaction reporting
- Actively analyse and ensure all expense claims are submitted by due date
- Internal cross charge journals
- Process invoicing and ensuring they are paid in accordance with our relevant payment terms, when required
- Assist with general legal accounting and accounts payable functions as directed by the National Accounts Payable Team Leader
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts payable or associated accounts administration role. Experience in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong computer skills required
- Intermediate Excel skills (including the ability to use advanced functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, graphs/charts etc.)
- Intermediate use of other Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Intermediate use of a Client Management System (CMS) or practice management system (Aderant Expert is preferable)
- Chrome River or Expense Management System experience preferred
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
