This company has been well known in the Sydney building industry for many decades. Due to continuous growth you now have the opportunity to join an experienced team of construction professionals who want to help you become a fully fledged Site Supervisor in a very organised and supportive environment.
The role requires someone just out of a carpentry or bricklaying apprenticeship who wants to start their Cert IV and who is looking to step up into a Site Supervisor role in a year's time.
The role of Site Supervisor :
- Office based for one year assisting with maintenance coordinating to start
- Programming jobs, scheduling work and coordinating trades on site
- Reporting to the Construction Manager and Site Supervisors
- Dealing directly with clients, architects and engineers (client site meetings once a week)
- Taking care of jobs at maintenance and warranty stage
- Managing materials to and from site and problems on site
- Going on site in a year's time and running jobs on site
- UTE will be incorporated in package once you move on site
- Carpentry or bricklaying trade qualification
- Cert IV in Building and Construction or capable of starting it (requirement for the role)
- Ability to work a full-time office based role
- Time management and organisational skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skill
- A full driving license
- Training for a project homes site supervising role
- Excellent systems and organisational processes in place
