As an Administration Officer in the Land Domain of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, you will be given the unique opportunity to help lead a multidisciplinary team to help deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability.

Your responsibilities will require you to apply your administration skills and experience across a wide range of activities, varying from preparing submissions to Government to deliver new capability to the Australian Defence Force, to providing support to human resource development and collaborating with specialists on data analytics, business support and governance.

About our Team
The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is an integral part of the Department of Defence. This group procures and maintains military equipment and supplies in the quantities and to the service levels that are required by Defence and approved by Government. Within CASG, the Land Domain acquires and supports designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force.

The right person for this role will be an individual who will enjoy working across a variety of tasks within administration across a broad range of areas.

You will be able to use your initiative to make informed decisions and solve problems relating to your areas of responsibility and undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments and perform procedural, clerical, administrative support work to achieve results.

The APS6 Administration Officer is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex administration work, engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues.
