As our Senior Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of prominent commercial assets and the services that ensure safe operations and comfort to the occupants. This role will see you oversee the leadership of engineering services operations with a focus spanning energy sustainability, ongoing building operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services. A snapshot of the role. Establish and maintain a sound professional working relationship with our clients Ensure and manage compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and enact appropriate engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and services Maximise the performance of the properties in terms of sustainability Drive performance of the assets to ensure NABERS energy and water targets are achieved Coordinate efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the assets Undertake periodic inspections of the buildings and plant and determine the extent, and priority of any repair works required Ongoing management of all specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works In collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations & capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basis Before you apply it’s worth knowing what we are looking for. You will have proven facilities management experience in a commercial environment and you’re ready to push your career forward managing a high-profile portfolio. A passion and understanding of sustainability is required and you have a good knowledge of property systems including familiarity with building services software procedures and knowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and requirements. Excellent communication skills are important– both written and spoken - and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
