Job Expectations We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Land Access and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor reporting to Regional Manager – LASE. A bit about your role The Land Access and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor will be responsible for providing specialist technical support and advice to key internal and external stakeholders within a State/ jurisdictional area(s), ensuring land access and stakeholder engagement activities are effectively implemented, consistent with regulatory and policy frameworks. This person will engage with various external stakeholders, including Local Government Authorities, Utilities, corporate building owners, institutions, and strata managers across all nbn programs. This role will interface with nbn Delivery Partners and internal customers, working collaboratively to enable resolution of enquiries, complaints, incidents, and objections in line with relevant Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), business processes and regulatory frameworks. This role will also support and work with the other members of the LASE Operations team across the Southwest region, ensuring the land access and stakeholder engagement framework is implemented consistently with all nbn programs and Delivery Partners. A bit about you As part of the organization, you will collaborate closely with internal customer groups, Delivery Partners, and external stakeholders. Your role involves providing expert advice on land access and stakeholder engagement at a regional level. You'll engage with Local Government Authorities, foster positive relationships, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Additionally, you'll oversee the implementation of a state-based stakeholder strategy and address contentious matters as needed. Your technical input will contribute to land access documentation, processes, and system development. Excellent interpersonal, research, written, and oral communication skills coupled with Stakeholder engagement and management is beneficial. Relevant Business experience in Town Planning Town/Urban Planning, Public Relations or Business Management coupled with experience and knowledge of working with the Telecommunications Act 1997 and associated Code of Practice / Low- impact Facilities Determination is an added advantage.
