About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will work as part of the ATOM Engineering team in ensuring the delivery of maintenance via ATOM’s service provider as well as ATOMs’ Operations team in ensuring effective oversight of the delivery of maintenance activities. You will play an active role and be accountable for asset management Performance, as well as Safe and Reliable delivery of maintenance works performed at site. The Maintenance Engineer will support operations through setting strategy and ensuring that works are delivered effectively at the Kwinana site: Key focal points in this role will be to

  • Oversee service providers’ for the delivery of work.
    • Support operations in ensure the service providers are performing and delivering to cost, schedule and quality outcomes.
    • Have broader oversight for the plan for performing maintenance work and driving the service providers to achieve consistently high productivity.
    • Setting the strategy for assets and driving service providers to achieve this strategy across the sites. Particular areas of focus for asset management include bulk-storage tanks, piping, pumps, electrical equipment, pipelines, jetties, waste-water treatment facilities.
  • Ensure corrective maintenance (CM), preventative maintenance (PM) and Once Off Revex Maintenance (OORM) works are adequately prioritised by ATOM Kwinana Operations
  • Supports ATOM Kwinana Operations in the delivery of ATOM led maintenance activities.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Technical knowledge and can contribute to support discussions as well as reviews (construction, risk, design, stakeholder engagement, operations etc.)
  • Have minimum of 3 years relevant experience maintenance management.
  • Has a discipline background (Engineering or Supervisory Experience) in one or more areas such as Civil / Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I), Pipelines, Tanks and / or Mechanical.
  • Hold valid permanent work rights in Australia for this full-time position.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance management and administration of maintenance schedules and tracking spend vs actuals as well as works planned vs actuals.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing auditing and assurance in accordance with processes, procedures and technical requirements to achieve requirements.
  • Oversee 3rd parties across one or more areas of focus for asset management include bulk-storage tanks, piping, pumps, electrical equipment, pipelines, jetties, waste-water treatment facilities.
  • Good understanding of bulk fuel terminals or a similar industry is desirable.
  • Effective engagement with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and solve complex issues related to Maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders positively and maintain working relationships.
  • Sound written and verbal skills
