Description:
Our prestigious, local WA business is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join the team, located in Geraldton.
Your role as the Assistant GM , no two days will be the same. You will help oversee the venue as a whole alongside the General Manager and be a hands on leader who wants to coach, inspire and support their team. Overseeing a large team, you will have the experience of leading larger teams as well as strategize to make improvements within the business.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring that you are meeting budgets and forecasts
* Training and developing new and current staff members
* Perform quality controls and ensure KPIs are being met
* Rosters and Wage Control
* Ensuring the business is staying legally compliant
* Examine the P&L and act accordingly
* Ensure that maintenance is completed safely and in a timely manner
Requirements for the role:
* Proven work experiences in a similar role
* Understanding the P&L
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to lead a team of over 50+ team member
* A degree in Business or Management is desirable
