Unmissable opportunity to join this brand-new venue located on the beautiful banks of the Murray River, this stunning heritage building has undergone a massive $8 million refurbishment. Our client is seeking an exceptional Head Chef to become an integral part of their senior leadership team. This amazing opportunity will see you take control of their newest venue and oversee their kitchen operations across two other venues.
- Positive, organised, calm under pressure & quality focused.
- Creative flair with a passion for fresh, local ingredients.
- Previous experience in fast paced, high-volume, high-pressure environments.
- Recognised qualifications and well versed in all aspects of kitchen management.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills.
- Multi-site experience preferred but not essential.
- A great attitude, work ethic and sense of humour!
Your responsibilities:
- A hands-on role organising & leading the kitchen team from the front.
- Involvement with final stages of kitchen design.
- Creation and execution of costed recipes.
- Ordering and supplier relationships.
- Rostering and labour control.
- Recruitment, staff training, and development.
- Providing support to chefs across all venues.
- Liaising with senior management to drive the venues in the right direction.
