Our business requires experienced support workers to join the roster of our client living in Bordertown. The hours available are varied across 7 days a week, mornings and afternoons with active overnight duties. This is for you if you are a team player who is flexible and professional looking for a great opportunity to make a difference.

Above Award wages apply.

You will be required to assist our client who has a high level spinal cord injury with personal care, domestic assistance, mealtime management and community support

Suitable Applicants will have:

  • An engaging Person-centred approach to care
  • Great communication and relationship building skills
  • A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of people with disability
  • Proven experience in working with people living with a disability (12 months or more)

Skills & Experience Required: Relevant industry experience (12 months or more) wirth a preference given to Support Workers that have experience supporting a person with a Spinal Cord injury

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar or Diploma of Nursing/Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Experience supporting a person with a Spinal Cord injury highly desirable
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Clear communication skills
