Join our Counterparty Lifecycle Management team as an Anti-Money Laundering and On-boarding subject matter expert, supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new and existing customers to fulfill regulatory requirements with focus on ANZ. This key segregated control function supporting institutional and corporate businesses is built on strong operational risk management and a control culture that is consistent and resilient.

At Macquarie, we are working to create lasting value for our communities, our clients and our people. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 54 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drive outcomes.

What role will you play?

Your key focus will be screening entity names against sanctions, assessing adverse news and politically exposed persons and escalating red flags and due diligence findings to Financial Crimes Compliance, while maintaining customer data and documents in the customer database.

You will liaise with clients and front and middle office staff to obtain KYC and legal documentation prior to set-up, alongside performing and managing on-boarding and interfacing with different business desks on any customer lifecycle management related query. As a subject matter expert, you will provide quality control checks for staff on new and existing clients, and drive value-add change and initiatives to our stakeholders.

What you offer

  • 2 + years experience in an analyst position within financial services, specialising in KYC
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and a strong sense of initiative
  • High attention to detail and sound organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Benefits

Macquarie employees can access a wide range of benefits which, depending on eligibility criteria and location, include:

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
  • Wellbeing and service bonus leave
  • Up to 20 weeks paid parental leave as well as benefits to support you as you transition to life as a working parent
  • Paid volunteer leave and donation matching
  • Range of benefits to support your physical, psychological and financial wellbeing
