We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker / Psychologist to work within a HASI Plus program in the Northern Sydney area (working between Brookvale, Chatswood and the Macquarie Park area’s. In this role you would work closely with the local health district to plan and implement care for people experiencing significant mental illness.Details of the role:

- Essential to come from a Clinical Background – we’re looking for someone who is either an AHPRA registered Psychologist, Nurse or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW registered Social Worker
This organisation have been providing a wide range of services for people experiencing mental illness. They are a not for profit organisation, with a long history and you would be provided with support, training and development opportunities.
Duties include:
- Working with those experiencing chronic and enduring mental illness
- Undertake clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions, employing evidence-based, recovery focused, and person-centered care, based on individual needs analysis
- Assist the person to build independence in daily life, including recovery planning, assistance to manage a tenancy, assistance to manage health and emotional wellbeing, as well as support to get involved in their local community.
- Provide clinical support, coaching and support for other staff members
- Work closely alongside other Clinical Team staff
- It is essential to come from a Clinical Background – we’re looking for someone who is either an AHPRA registered Psychologist, Nurse or Occupational Therapist, or an AASW registered Social Worker
- We are looking for someone with a strong background working in Mental Health
- An excellent salary of between $105-120k plus super, plus salary packaging benefits
