Position Purpose
To provide asset protection and ensure all stakeholders attending Site are within a safe and incident free environment.

Key Responsibilities
Arming and Disarming an Alarm Systems
Assist in the installation / removal of equipment relevant to channelingstakeholders in and out of the premises
Conduct regular foot patrols of the assets
Investigate and appropriately action all complaints received by stakeholders
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Maintain the onsite Key Register
Maintaining and controlling relevant equipment e.g. keys, swipe cards.
Monitor the CCTV system
Monitor, control and maintain Access Control equipment
Oversee & assist customer with observations of site WH&S procedures
Perform inductions to ensure continued WH&S of site
Perform unlock and lock up of access points within the Sites
Professional liaising with State Police, Emergency Services and allstakeholders
Provide Concierge duties
Provide Customer Service to all stakeholders
Reporting incidents and breach of Security immediately
Use the Sites email system Qualification

To be considered for this role you must:
Possess current First Aid
Hold a valid New South Wales Class 1 AC Security License
Be prepared to work AM/PM shift work rosters with varying hours of attendance including weekend work.
Be physically fit, well presented/ groomed with pleasant disposition
Have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Able to work well and remain calm under pressure
Have effective communication skills both verbal and written communication
Demonstrate a strong customer focus and be able to live our values
Good understanding and experience in WHS and emergency response management procedures;
Strong experience in conflict resolution; and
Good report writing skills.
Be capable of learning new skills quickly
Exceptional Customer service skills
Being flexible and adaptable
Ability to compile precise and professional reports

Mandatory
Current State Security License
Own transport
Extensive Security knowledge and understanding of Security issues
Able to pass pre-employment alcohol & drug testing
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical / fitness examination. Skills

Prior knowledge of large education facility operating procedures & protocols.
Ability to multi task in a busy environment Experience
Preferably prior experience in dealings with major stakeholders
