What’s on offer?
As a Trainer / Assessor you will prepare and deliver training to the region in line with company procedures. You will assess competencies of our employees and regularly monitor and evaluate the delivery of the training ensuring appropriate support and service is provided. You’ll work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate training and development strategies to support our region. You will also:
  • Prepare, deliver training and assess competency e.g. VOC in line with company procedures;
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort;
  • Maintain all training and assessment paperwork, ensuring adequate review of training data for accuracy;
  • Preparing relevant quarterly/monthly status reports as requested by stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role. You will have excellent organisation skills and demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines. You will also have:
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment;
  • Subject Matter Expert in surfacing, minor civil or related industries;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that combine with problem-solving skills;
  • A collaborative style with the ability to quickly build relationships and engage a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Ability to work across northern and regional NSW as there is a component of travel involved.
