Are you a dedicated Youth Worker who is looking for regular casual work? Our client, a large Not-For-Profit organisation is looking to bring on passionate and skilled employees to work at multiple sites within Tamworth.As part of the casual workforce, you will be a vital member of the team, working both regular shifts and cover shifts with opportunities for AM, PM and Overnight shifts.

About the Opportunity
This role works to provide reliable, responsive and flexible services to those living within our clients facilities. Our client is looking to bring on experienced Youth Workers who can actively support a child, young person and their family to create and maintain a positive impact in their lives.
As a casual position, this role has the ability to provide flexible shifts or regular shifts for the right candidate.
- Tamworth Location
- $40.26 an hour plus appropriate shift loadings
- Various Shifts Available
- Support, read and understand children and young person’s plans, including their needs, personal goals and the outcomes they wish to achieve
- Promote self-determination and cultural identity
- Assisting with and arranging daily activities in line with a child or young persons plan
- Actively support the child or young person to achieve their daily goals
- Work within the relevant frameworks to ensure trauma informed service delivery
- Facilitate engagement with children and young persons within the community
- Completing daily case notes, admin tasks and incident reports
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or a relevant recognised qualification, plus the four mandatory top up units for Residential and out of home care.
- You must be willing to undergo and obtain a clear National Police Check
- Working rights in Australia
- A full and valid driver’s license
- A current First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A Minimum of 2 COVID-19 Vaccinations
- Current and Valid Working with Children’s Check
