With a strong commitment to accelerating the transition to sustainable energy, our client is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and execution of cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Project Engineer with a background in Battery Energy Storage (BESS) systems to lead and manage projects that align with our client's mission of sustainable energy. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of BESS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale Battery Energy Storage projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for potential BESS projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project requirements and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, technical reports, and project plans.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in BESS project execution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and execution of Battery Energy Storage projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of BESS systems, energy storage technologies, and grid integration.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and engineering analysis.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
