Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Medical receptionist to join our busy team on a casual basis.
Must be available week nights up until 9pm & weekends.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-Handling phone, scheduling and managing appointments
-Respond to patients and visitor enquiries
-Manage Front office/reception area and facilitate smooth patient flow by communicating with patients and clinical staff, being aware of delays and important confidential information
-Manage accounts and process billings & receipting
-Scanning, filing and faxing confidential documents
-Managing medical records and keeping information updated
-General administration duties
Required skill set:
-Professional phone etiquette and high level of customer service.
-Excellent verbal and communication skills
-Strong computer skills especially proficiency in Best Practice and MS Office and Excel software
-Proven experience of working in a team
-Be able to work under pressure
-High attention to detail
-Able to manage time and prioritise workload
-Problem Solving
-Maintain confidentiality
-Quick and efficient to learning processes & procedures
-Strong organisational and follow up skills
-Ability to work unsupervised

Job Type: Casual
Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

- Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
