About the role : As the Insurance Relationship and Service Delivery Coordinator, your main focus will be delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive claims experience for Hostplus members, claimants, and third-party representatives.

Your daily tasks will revolve around the comprehensive management of Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection (IP) superannuation insurance claimsAbout you : Some of the key capabilities the successful candidate will have experience in : Customer Service ·Oversee the end-to-end management of claims for Hostplus members and claimants, nurturing positive relationships and actively managing a portfolio of claims on a daily basis.

  • Ensure a positive claims experience for Hostplus members and their dependants.·Develop, maintain, and enhance customer relationships while conserving existing business through educational initiatives for members.
  • Demonstrate initiative in acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the claims industry.·Provide superior customer service to members, their dependants, and third-party representatives through best practices.

Claims ·Possess a high level of knowledge in superannuation and life insurance products, claims, medical terminology, and the role and responsibilities of a Trustee, including relevant legislation.

  • Showcase experience in case management or claims assessment.·Maintain a proactive service focus, adept at building and managing relationships.
  • Handle complex claims, both Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection (IP), demonstrating resolution capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage respective insurers to ensure claims progress in accordance with service level agreements.ServicePlus Centre ·Demonstrate proven experience in customer service or call center roles, with a strong preference for prior financial services experience.
  • Exhibit proficiency in comprehending complex concepts and effectively communicating them in simple terms.·Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Build rapport with internal and external customers through established experience.·Possess good knowledge of superannuation, insurance, and / or advice models, providing a valuable advantage.
