We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and reliable Yard Hand to join our Port Hedland team. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the role, ensuring the yard is organised and safe at all times.
This is a Full Time Permanent role working Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm. This role is a residential role, no FIFO available.
Only Port Hedland residents will be considered. Daily responsibilities will include; Forklift Operations. Washing machinery and equipment.
General Yard Duties as required. Occasionally driving the equipment to move or reposition it. The successful candidate will be hard working, be able to work a minimum 47.
5 hour week and maintain a positive attitude. The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have : Forklift licence and demonstrated FL experience.
Previous experience with driving machinery is an advantage but not essential. EWP ticket advantageous, however willing to train the right applicant.
Experience in a similar role. Well-developed communication skills. Assertiveness, tenacity with a demonstrable sense of urgency, determination, and resilience.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated.
