Description:
- Plan and execute activities supporting communication and engagement strategy for specific projects
- Independently coordinate project activities and oversee project deliverables
- Build, maintain, and enhance relationships and networks internally and externally
- Enable implementation of communication and engagement deliverables
- Effectively plan events that engage the target audience
- Manage potential conflicts through clear communication
- Apply communication and engagement techniques effectively
- Utilise audience analytics for stakeholder mapping
- Negotiate and communicate with designated stakeholder groups
- Represent the program area within departmental guidelines
- Direct email marketing
- Schedule and map-out social media
- Develop website content
Requirements:
- A qualification or relevant experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, would be well regarded.
- An understanding of biosecurity response activities and/or experience in applying your capabilities in a response environment will be highly regarded.
Conditions:
- Brilliant 6-month contract, with the possibility for extension in the public sector.
