Description:

You will be accountable for spearheading brand and advertising activities arising from the marketing and communications plan, organisational strategy, and operational services to support service marketing and brand engagement. You will be relied upon to enhance Uniting AgeWell's profile as well as the maintenance of brand voice, integrity, and reputation to contribute to the growth of the organisation. Your role will include:

  • Working in the Marketing and Community Relations team to contribute specialist and strategic brand and marketing advice.
  • Production of brand executions and advertising across a range of mediums and for various audiences.
  • Development of local area brand and advertising campaigns to support service growth.
  • Creation of briefs for brand activities and advertising that form the basis of compelling campaigns and promotions.
  • Co-creation and maintenance of an annual plan for advertising to achieve agreed goals and timelines.
  • Project management and responsibility for Uniting AgeWell's annual calendar of advertising commitments including print, radio, TVC, cinema, outdoor and directories.
  • Copywriting and conceptualization of brand and advertising campaigns to drive service growth and brand awareness in all regions.
  • Contribution to the smooth operation of the Marketing and Community Relations department.
  • Developing the skills and capabilities of team members through coaching, training, and mentorship to ensure continuous growth and excellence.



Requirements:

If you have worked in a large service organisation and have a passion for making a difference in the aging community, this is the role for you.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience in the development and deployment of successful customer-centred brand and advertising programs for a large service organisation.
  • Demonstrated evidence of conceptualising, writing and producing brand executions and advertising across a range of mediums and audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong creative approach including effective photographic and art direction skills.
  • Excellent organisational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Office 365, excel, powerpoint, online content planning and collaboration tools.
  • Enthusiasm for interacting effectively with a diverse range of people and experience in maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders to successfully deliver organisational outcomes within a defined timeline.



Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant will be subject to comprehensive reference and background checking before employment, that will include

  • A current Victorian Drivers' License and your own car, noting some travel (including interstate) may be required.
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process
  • A current Working With Children's Check (VIC)
  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and be prepared to meet this ongoing requirement
