Description:
The successful candidate will undertake the following tasks:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms and value.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and construction teams to enhance the procurement function for delivering essential projects.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within renewable energy, infrastructure, and utilities sectors.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in contract management and procurement best practices.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba and other procurement tools is preferred.
