Our client based in Gillman has grown into one of Australia's largest privately owned multi disciplinary heavy engineering and construction services providers with a solid reputation for innovation, service, quality and their ongoing commitment to safety.
Synaco are currently looking for experienced Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers to join their growing team due to an increase in production.
The work will be ongoing with opportunities for overtime. Normal hours are from 6:00am until 2:30pm – Monday to Friday, Saturday is also a requirement as well as overtime on weekdays up to 5pm when busy.
Duties will include loading and unloading trucks with steel beams up to 18m in length, previous use of a combilift (side loader) is desired but not essential. Manual labour is also a requirement, however most time will be spent on a forklift.
What's in it for you?
$34.00 p/h + penalties
6:00am – 2:30pm Mon – Fri plus overtime up to 5pm plus Saturday work (includes penalty rates) – this exceeds the 48hrs per fortnight for those on Student Visas

Requirements:
Availability to work overtime from Monday – Saturday (due to increase in production, hours can't be negotiated)
Experience carrying lengths exceeding a minimum of 6m in width (not height) is essential to be considered for this role
Current High Risk LF ticket (forklift)
MC licence desirable (not essential)
Experience with overhead cranes (not essential)
Manual handling & heavy lifting
Pass an instant drug & alcohol test upon successful client interview – please be aware that THC may yield a positive result for up to 3 months after use
