Description:
We are on a look out for an experienced Category Insights Manager on full time basis based at our Macquarie Park office to support the Merchandise Team to drive Metcash supermarket growth, working across a variety of different categories to deliver growth. This role will report to Senior Category Insights Manager.
What you'll do:
- Support HOT and their team to champion insight driven decision making
- Collate and process relevant data from all available sources into insights and lead the merchandise team to actionable recommendations
- Translate information into clear recommendations to the assigned Merchandise team to drive category growth
- Key support in ranging and space decisions for category reviews
- Facilitate the formulation of best practice category strategy and able to liaise and collaborate with suppliers to fill in relevant shopper and research information gaps to drive category growth.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years FMCG experience
- Bachelor's degree in business/Marketing or similarly related field
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement with ability to cultivate, grow and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Advanced analytical thinking
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proficient at using scan and panel data from Nielsen, IRI and loyalty data and self-driven, with the ability to influence and drive change.
