Salary:up to $60 per hour (Year 8) + Super + Salary Packaging!

As a Post Anaesthetic Care Unit Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of patients after surgery. Your responsibilities encompass delivering comprehensive, safe, and holistic care in a patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments with a patient-centered and holistic approach.
- Respond effectively to patients' changing conditions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high-quality patient care.
- Ensuring that patients' rights and needs are respected, and serving as their advocate during the recovery process.
- Coordinating the handoff of patients from the PACU to other units or departments once they are stable and ready to move forward in their recovery journey.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes in the PACU
- AHPRA Registration is a must.
- ANMAC must already be in process if you are an overseas applicant
- Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate nursing experience with recent theatre experience - for 186 visa applicants, this is 3 years.
- Ability to thrive in high-demand, unsupervised environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Desire to contribute to the mission-based care of a diverse community.
