About You and the Role

As an IT Systems Administrator/Engineer you will have the opportunity to manage and administer a large and complex AD and Azure AD environment, manage InTune and O365 environments, and support exploring and implementing the ever-evolving features of these platforms. Working alongside Level 2 support to troubleshoot and identify resolutions, you will be passionate about supporting core applications and services across different business units as well as partnering with stakeholders and third-party vendors to implement improvements and resolve issues.

As a member of our team, you will be available for on-call support for two weeks per year, via a managed rotation plan outside of business hours. You will work closely with the Systems & EndPoint Manager, Infrastructure & Network Manager, IT Engineering Manager, and Solution Architects to optimize resource allocation and manage dependencies.

John Holland Group IT is part way through a large digital transformation project and this role will be a major player in providing modern workplace solutions and services to our end users, best positioning John Holland as a technology leader in the construction sector.

What we are looking for;

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and InTune policies
  • Experience with Identity Management and Conditional Access
  • Experience configure Azure Enterprise Applications
  • Experience administering the Microsoft O365 suite and collaboration tools such Teams
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services at scale
  • Experience with Windows 11 OS and SOE management at scale
  • Automation mindset
  • Experience with either PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a must
  • Understanding of essential security practises
  • Collaborative Team player
  • End user experience focused
  • Experience with ITIL & ITSM frameworks
