Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment, and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.
About the roleWe are seeking multiple part time and casual proactive Youth Workers. In this role you will provide quality client-centred support, to young people aged 15-24 years of age who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness and requiring crisis accommodationYou will successfullyEnsure Support is provided to young people in line with Youth Services Model of care and associated FrameworksBuild effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participationEnsure case management support is provided to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practiceIdentify and raise risks to clients and staff to the attention of the line managerReport and record incidents / hazards via online management system timely and accuratelyIdentify service gaps and provide recommendations for service delivery improvements to Team Leader / Program ManagerThese part time and casual roles are located in Karratha, WA.
- The salary and conditions for this role are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 4 will have Minimum Certificate 3 or 4 in Human Services or related field, or relevant equivalent experience in the Human Services IndustryExperience in working with youth in community or residential setting desirableDrivers licenceFirst aid certificate (current or able to get within three months)What we offerAs a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as;
