Food manufacture in the Logan region is seeking a maintenance fitter on afternoon shiftYour new company
A company motivated by ensuring that they adhere to the strongest safety standards, embracing new technology and continuous improvement, are now looking for an experienced Fitter to help manage the plant's maintenance. This company works in the FMCG sector in the southside of Brisbane on an afternoon shift with penalties.
Your new role
Reporting to the maintenance manager, your typical day would involve working closely with the Production and Maintenance team and be responsible for breakdown repair, preventative maintenance, and improvement of equipment to ensure optimal plant performance & costs while maintaining best practice and safety standards.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position you may possess some of the following:
Trade Qualified
Ability to fault find and troubleshoot
Respond to equipment breakdowns
Routine plant and environmental monitoring
Maintain and repair various machines and equipment
Preventative maintenance
Utilise a CMMS computer system confidently advantageous
Experience within a manufacturing environment
