The Business Home Lending team provides dedicated Homes Lending support to our Small Business Banking (SBB), Regional and Agri-Business (RAB) and Commercial Banking (CB) segments of the Commonwealth Bank. This role will specifically provide support to our Regional and Agri-Business Team in South Australia.
About your role
As an experienced senior coach, the focus of your role will be to support Business Home Lending business by coaching and training Business Home Lenders & Leaders to achieve outstanding customer and lending outcomes through improvements in commercial home loan capability.
Your responsibilities
Actively lead business home lending deal discussions including a holistic approach to home loan credit applications to reduce error rates and ensure compliance
Support BHL Complex Financial Analysis & Data Extraction for Relationship Managed Customers
Facilitate coaching and ongoing training for business home lenders and leaders to enhance knowledge of CBA commercial home loan, processes and systems
Your accountable for improving business home lending capability and performance
Adhere to approved training and development programs, to maintain compliant and uniform standards
Support ongoing commercial accreditation of our people
Act as the point of support for unresolved business home lending compliance breaches and business home lending operational changes
Coach on commercial credit standards, process and policy and act as a point of reference for credit decision using prudent risk management judgement within delegations
Be responsible jointly with leaders on improvements required from audit results and ensure actions are in place to uplift capabilities from post funding file Audits, coaching and feedback
About you
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated commercial lending experience from within CBA environment min 2-3 years
Advanced knowledge of CBA commercial lending processes and systems (CCL/CHL), including reporting
Strong credit assessment and preparation skills, and advanced problem solving ability.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and training facilitation experience
Demonstrated experience in Commercial Lending risk management frameworks - e.g. credit assurance/hindsight
Sound knowledge of the Group's sales and service methodology and processes
Qualification for Coaching - CAN Coaching/IGROW (preferred)
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills.
