We're seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Program Manager to lead our esteemed Social & Emotional Wellbeing Team (SEWB).
Working closely with the CEO, this pivotal position is fundamental to our continued success and evolution.
As Senior Manager, you will spearhead the management, coordination performance and quality outcomes of our SEWB Team of 30 + people, taking on a leadership role in guiding, supporting, and mentoring our dedicated staff. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring the delivery of exemplary services through the implementation of best practices and rigorous quality control measures.
Your duties will also include:
- Strategic Planning - Develop and implement goals for the department, focusing on client service excellence
- Financial Management - Maintain operations within budgetary guidelines
- Compliance - Ensure organisational compliance with legislation and guidelines for safe service delivery
- NDIS Oversight - Manage NDIS programs within the department
- Supervision and Support - Provide leadership and direction for effective service provision
- Policy Contribution - Contribute to policy development and integrated service delivery
- Reporting - Provide regular management reports and participate in departmental planning
- General Duties: Participate in policy development, represent the organization, and ensure compliance with policies
You will need to:
- Hold a degree qualification in counselling, social work, or a related field and/or extensive community services management experience relevant to the role
- Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- Demonstrate understanding of issues related to the spiritual, social, and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal communities
- Have proven experience in the implementation of Best Practice principles
- Demonstrate experience in the development, management, administration, and evaluation of programs, preferably within the health and wellbeing field
- Have a successful track record in managing staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Possess strong budgeting and financial management skills
- Hold a current Driver’s License
