About the Opportunity
As part of the Park Lands, Policy & Sustainability (PLPS) Program, the Strategic Project Officer will proactively contribute to the delivery of a broad range of Program commitments, services and projects according to quality, cost and timeliness expectations.
Some of the things you will see yourself doing with us are:
Producing high quality reports, documents and presentations that are effectively tailored to suit the audience.
Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively contributing to the overall functioning of the PLPS Program by undertaking research, defining and documenting service delivery, leading and contributing to continuous service improvements and identification of efficiencies.
Maintaining service and program planning materials, including external stakeholder lists, documenting processes, and creating and maintaining data management lists.
Developing and reviewing program correspondence, presentations, reports and communication to Council Members and external customers.
Providing coordination support for Program committees and panels including but not limited to the Reconciliation Committee and Access and Inclusion Panel.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in developing processes to capture and analyse quantitative data to inform program delivery and evaluation.
Experience in the preparation of a range of professional correspondence, including letters, written reports and presentations.
Experience in community engagement with a strong focus on customer service that achieves positive outcomes quickly and effectively.
Strong organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
