Clinical Pharmacist Grade 1 - Rotational
Grampians Health Ballarat
Permanent Full time or Part Time available
Multiple positions available (up to 80 hours per fortnight with ADO)
About the role
This role will involve assisting in the provision of unit based clinical pharmacy services on a rotational basis including the opportunity to undertake credentialing for advanced scope of practice roles. Possible rotations to operational services including dispensary, manufacturing services and Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) may occur.
Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance. In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures as well as formal education programs including the SHPA Foundation Residency Program.
Remuneration will be award-based according to experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Provision of clinical pharmacy services (assessment, intervention, advocacy and consultation) on a rotational basis
- Effective patient flow principles
- Mentoring and clinical supervision of pharmacy students, interns and other Grampians Health staff
- Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programs
Skills and experience
- Currently hold or be eligible for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
