Your new role

As an Injury Management Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting employee wellbeing, managing injury claims, and facilitating safe and timely return-to-work programs. Your duties will include:

• Manage all aspects of work-related injury claims, ensuring compliance with relevant State or Territory Workers Compensation legislation.
• Attend medical appointments as required for injured workers and assist sites with the coordination of medical reviews for injured workers
• Submit workers' compensation and income protection claims
• Assist with the coal board medical process as required as well as assist with the coal board medical process as required
• Attend claims reviews with insurers on a quarterly basis

What you'll need to succeed

As the Injury Management Advisor, you will need the following experience and qualifications to successfully perform the duties.

• Allied Health qualification with 2 years of experience in injury management /worker's compensation
• High organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Experience in Mining and Resources
• Current driving licence
