This paradise haven could be your next move with this fabulous, permanent as a Coordinator – Occupational Safety & Health .

In this role you will be responsible for providing advice to, and conducting inspections across regional Water Corporation assets, in relation to their handling and storing of dangerous goods.

These include, but not limited to, goods such as Chlorine, Sodium Hypochlorite and Aluminium Sulphate.

You will primarily look after the implementation of the Dangerous Goods requirements throughout the Southwest Region, based at the Regional Office in Bunbury.

This is an opportunity to support and coach others in the business using your expertise relating to Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Substances and general WHS compliance and requirements.

This role will have you undertaking significant travel around the Region and occasional travel out of the region to attend conferences.

A high level of customer focussed service is fundamental. You will be able to work autonomously, as well as work closely with your team. Good organisational and time management skills are a must, as well as communication skills as you will be required to interact extensively with the Operations Group.

You will also get to hone your auditing skills and develop relationships with Regulators and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you will coordinate incident management and inter agency exercises.


The fundamentals of this role.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant OSH and Dangerous Good Safety Legislation including Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practise.
  • Understanding of OSH principles and contemporary OSH management philosophies.
  • Valid WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s License.
  • Sound computing skills in Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn the corporation’s suite of computing applications.
  • Commitment to undertake some travel within the Southwest and Metro area with some overnight stays.
