About the Opportunity

The position is responsible for ensuring that all prisoner reports in relation to security rating, individual management plans, transfers and parole are accurately prepared and maintained. The Sentence Management Administrator has daily interactions with prisoners and custodial staff and requires initiative in information gathering and seeking clarification where needed whilst being non-judgemental.

What you’ll be doing

  • Daily interaction with prisoners including interviews
  • Completion of a variety of template reports
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Information gathering on prisoner behaviour and performance whilst maintaining confidentiality General office administration

Your ideal skills & experience

Experience

  • Experience in administration and report writing
  • Experience using MS Office to prepare high quality written documentation
  • Experience working within a compliance focused administration position

Knowledge

  • Cultural awareness including understanding the impact and management of different ethnic backgrounds, customs and contemporary issues.
