You will be joining a State Government Department who is dedicated to delivering community and environmental projects. With a wide scope across the State they are focused on protecting Queensland's resources through various strategies and service delivery initiatives.
Your new role
As the AO4 Project Support Officer, your role will include:
- Undertake a range of activities to support the various functional areas of the Taskforce.
- Administrative tasks including secretariat functions for stakeholder meetings and record keeping.
- Logistics support for fire ant suppression activities delivered by external parties. This includes inventory management.
- Data entry and basic analysis in support of operational activities.
- Utilisation of GIS mapping and data management systems
- Respond to and resolve customer queries via internal systems such as CaSES CRM and the Taskforce inbox.
- Support of community engagement activities, including social media moderation, attendance at public engagement events and assisting large scale mailout campaigns
- Provide technical support for the operational delivery of the Program.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous project support experience, ideally within a government capacity. You will also be able to undertake a variety of tasks, work within deadlines and display strong administration capacity. It is also a requirement that you hold a Driver's Licence.
