About the Position
Based in our Paget Workshop, as a Fitter/Machinist you will be required to:
- Perform the stripping and rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders and engineering components.
- Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings and use of measuring tools
About you
To be successful as a Fitter/Machinist with the Austchrome Team, you will require:
- Relevant Trade Qualifications
- Experience in hydraulic cylinder overhauls (desirable)
- Experience operating CNC machines or manual lathes
- Have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances.
- Be committed to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your teammates.
