About this Registered Nurse - ICU role
Kate at Carejobz Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client's team with a variety of roles available with hours to suit your lifestyle.
As a vital member of our client's ICU team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing evidence-based, person-centred patient care, contributing to planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation.
- Demonstrating professional practice by adhering to AHPRA standards, ethical codes, legislative requirements, and Healthscope policies.
- Creating a learning environment by presenting clinical cases and supporting the professional development of the nursing team.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintaining constructive relationships with VMO partners to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, HDU, or CCU setting.
- Commitment to providing quality patient care and adherence to ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong teamwork and independence in your approach.
- A Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards)
- is desirable.
