Our client is a leading architecture, engineering, and construction firm dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney. If you are passionate about BIM technology and have a proven track record in managing BIM processes, we want to hear from you.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing our BIM capabilities and ensuring the efficient implementation of BIM processes across our projects. You will work closely with project teams, guiding them in the use of BIM technology to enhance project coordination, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement BIM standards and protocols to be used across all projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM project execution plans.
- Provide training and support to staff in BIM software and methodologies.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to exchange BIM data.
- Manage clash detection and resolution processes to enhance project coordination.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging BIM technologies.
- Ensure compliance with BIM-related regulations and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in BIM management on complex construction projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to train and mentor team members in BIM processes.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality BIM standards.
- Familiarity with Australian BIM standards and regulations is a plus.
