Technical Sales Representative - Power Tools Plus, Forbes Branch
Position : Full Time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
Power Tools Plus, a leader in steel and industrial product supply in Central West NSW, is seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Sales Representative for our Cowra branch. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing our sales efforts, particularly outside the branch, by developing new customer relationships and nurturing existing ones across various industries including agriculture, mining, government, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Leadership: Attend meetings, collaborate with the Operations Manager on targets, update the team on performance, and maintain market trend awareness.
- Sales Development: Identify and visit key potential and existing customers, provide technical advice, negotiate pricing, and efficiently process orders.
- Account Management: Be a first point of contact for key customers; providing quotes, processing orders, and investigating special requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Branch Interaction: Ensure continuous support and pricing stability, assist in stock management, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Operations: Coordinate maintenance for representative vehicles and care for provided equipment, such as laptops and mobile phones. Some travel may be required to service remote customers.
- Workplace Health and Safety: Uphold all safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and customer service, with a background in regional, industrial or agricultural sectors preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with a practical and down-to-earth approach.
- Self-motivated, with the drive and ambition to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
