Your New Employer:
u&u. Recruitment Partners has been engaged exclusively by an instantly recognisable market leader to recruit a Business Analysis and Demand Manager role. The company has a modern stack of Microsoft D365 technologies and invest heavily in technology as a strategic enabler. This role will be a permanent role based at their headquarters in Macquarie Park. There will be parking on-site provided for the successful candidate, or alternatively their office is walking distance from all major public transport links. The company is a true specialist in their field and have over 1,300 employees across 180 sites in Australia. They are well respected within their sector as an employer of choice with a strong customer centric and fun culture. The culture is focused on training and development of staff and working together to achieve shared outcomes. This is particularly the case with this role, which will work across various business streams and partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, the company focus heavily on employee safety and wellness, so work from home options or flexible hours are highly supported with this role (WFH 2 days per week).

Your New Role:
The role will be split into three key areas: leadership (45%), IT demand management (45%) and working with the PMO on governance and reporting (10%). You'll play a strong business partner role consulting with internal business units and the broader IT function to understand technology needs and challenges, ensuring that projects align with the IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy and this work follows governance set out by the PMO.

You'll:
Lead, mentor and develop your team of Product Owners and Business Analysts (7 direct reports) on top priorities of work;

Manage the Demand for IT services, with support from the Head of Delivery;

Manage relationships with IT, business units during negotiations and evaluations to identify potential issues and risks;

Consult with business unit's and review IT usage, services, technology, and department specific projects to identify, forecast and develop IT needs;

Provide research, analysis and direction for solution development for the IT strategic direction, Technology Roadmap and existing or future application portfolio. Present alternative strategies, new products, and service offerings to reduce negative impacts to projects;

Support development of business cases. Analyse and report operational and financial impacts of vendors, products and services;

Ensure that initiatives adhere to the IT PMO Governance. This includes working with data and reporting, risk and compliance, Legal and making sure all IT-PMO gateways have been met before commencing projects;

Align and work with Business Product Managers and IT Leadership group on technology demand and solutions;

Track and review Business requirements have met all Delivery of Work;

Coordinate the use and delivery of IT services; and

Prepare and submit operational budget and cost estimates for proposed projects to LOB representatives and/or senior management.

Your background and experience:
Demonstrated experience (3+ years) working in a Business Analysis Manager or Business Demand Manager role;

Previous leadership experience of a high performing team of Business Analysts;

Demonstrated experience in IT demand management and forecasting;

Extensive experience working in agile/scrum environments;

Strong experience with requirements elicitation and end to end Business Analysis;

You will be authentic, self-aware, emotionally mature and a team player with high energy;

You will have exemplary stakeholder engagement skills and will be a natural influencer and relationship builder at executive level;

You will be action orientated and collaborative with a strong orientation to outstanding service; and

Above all else, you will have a friendly, positive attitude with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
