About the role
Join the City of Coffs Harbour as a Works Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring that our open space facilities can continue to be enjoyed by the community.
As a Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful team, overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities, ensuring safe work practices are being adhered to, scheduling projects and employee rosters, and budget reporting.
The ideal candidate will obtain proven experience in Facilities, Parks, Reserves and Horticultural maintenance in a practical hands-on capacity, with general knowledge of plant operations, building structures and playground equipment.
The City has two available opportunities for a proactive and positive leader to join our Open Spaces Section as a Works Supervisor;
The Works Supervisor - Foreshores will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities at the Woolgoolga and Jetty Foreshores to ensure they are maintained to the required standards.
The Works Supervisor - Mowing will be responsible for organising and overseeing the day-to-day mowing operations of Council-maintained open spaces and parks (including Fire trail/asset protection zones) to ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.
About you?
- Certificate III in either Horticulture / Greenkeeping / Landscape Construction or similar and/or significant industry experience
- Demonstrated people leadership skills and experience.

- Starting salary from $69K + Superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
