- $110,156.00 per annum + 11% superannuation
- District allowance of $2,149.00 per annum
- $27,539 per annum on call loading (25% of base salary)
- Travel and accommodation provided
- Full time role working 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off - amazing!
You will be working for a wonderful organisation which delivers a high standard of comprehensive healthcare to Aboriginal communities across the Kimberley region.
The location
The Kimberley region is a vast and remote area known for its rugged and pristine natural beauty, rich indigenous culture, and unique landscapes. It's one of the most stunning and ecologically significant regions in Australia.
Your main duties
As a Remote Area Nurse, you will work with the multidisciplinary team to provide primary health and emergency care to the community. Your duties will include (but aren't limited to):
- Providing evidence-based, primary healthcare to individuals, families and communities
- Delivering health promotion and educational services
- Coordinating assigned health programs
- Participating in an on-call roster to ensure the provision of a 24/7 emergency care service
- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- National Crime Check
- WA Working with Children's Check
- Experience in Remote Area Nursing
- Experience in Aboriginal Health is highly regarded
- Current, manual driver's license
- Willingness to travel by 4WD or light aircraft as required
