Non-Specialist Procedural Doctors (ED/Obstetrics/Anaesthetics) with FRACGP or FACRRM are sought for locum jobs in Western Australia. These jobs are available for multiple dates over the next few months with excellent rates of pay. They are available at small, mostly rural hospitals serving local communities with primary care, emergency care and basic secondary care with support from regional hospitals readily available.Major Responsibilities
- you will work with a team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to provide assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting to the hospital.
- you will perform procedures within your scope of practice
- you will refer complex cases to specialists
- you will work a shift system
WACHS Kimberley requirements:
- PGY 9 + or College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP).
- AHPRA registration
- Experience in rural remote settings / Aboriginal health issues / working in ED
- Current ED CME qualifications e.g. NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST)
- Right to work in Australia
Procedural Qualifications :
DMO Anaesthetics
- JCCA
- Cardiac Arrest ( ALS2 or equivalent)
- A/DRANZCOG
- FSEP (Foetal Surveillance Education Program)
- OFSEP ( Online Foetal Surveillance Education Program Yearly)
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NNR)
Remuneration
- daily rates of pay from AUD $ 2500 - 3200
- Travel and accommodation costs re-imbursed with advance approval.
